UToledo Student Arrested for Bomb Threat

TOLEDO, Ohio – A University of Toledo student has been charged with inducing panic on campus. 

Evelyn Grace Crone, a 20 year old student, was arrested on February 16, 2026 at 10:04 p.m. by campus police, after threatening to bomb the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity on a social media post. The resident assistant was arrested in Ottawa East in her 4th floor dorm.

She appeared to the Lucas County court on February 18, and was released on bail on her self -recognizance, according to court records.  The Judge advised Crone never to come in contact with her victim under any circumstances.

Crone is no longer a student at the university. Her next court hearing is February 27, 2026.
